The main themes
of the previous session

Two days, two rooms, more than 80 talks. These six themes structured the official 2025 programme — a reliable indication of the level and the scope of the 2027 edition.

  1. 01

    Auditorium · both mornings

    Live surgery

Four live procedures broadcast from two operating rooms, commented by the moderators.

    • Single-port robotic mastectomy and immediate breast reconstruction
    • Endoscopic mastectomy and immediate breast reconstruction
    • Tissue preserving breast augmentation — axilla, inframammary fold, hybrid
    • Energy device assisted scarless breast lift
  2. 02

    Auditorium · day 1

    Can we avoid…?

The signature session of the congress, in four acts: how far can the surgical burden be reduced?

    • Avoiding general anaesthesia for oncologic and reconstructive surgery
    • Avoiding the silicone implant — fat grafting, cryopreserved fat, alternatives to implants
    • Avoiding mastectomy — second conservative surgery, oncoplastic patterns, sponge scaffold, local perforator flaps
    • Avoiding surgery — no surgery in breast cancer, cryoablation
  3. 03

    Auditorium & Room 101 · both days

    Endoscopic & robotic breast surgery

From the literature to daily practice, and what happens after the first operation.

    • Endoscopic surgery for mastectomy and for breast conserving surgery
    • Multiport and single-port robotics — DaVinci Xi, DaVinci SP
    • Do we have the data? Good and bad indications, revisions, worst results
    • State of the art in minimally invasive robotic breast surgery in the USA
  4. 04

    Auditorium & Room 101 · both days

    Lymphatic surgery & microsurgery

Sparing the axilla, and rebuilding the lymphatic system with robotic assistance.

    • Avoiding lymph node surgery
    • Robotic and preventive lymphatic surgery
    • Prophylactic lymphatic reconstruction — the Symani experience
    • Building a robotic microsurgery programme, and the learning curve
  5. 05

    Room 101 · certifying masterclass

    Breast tissue preservation

A two-part masterclass, from the founding concepts to the operating room and the clinical data.

    • Concept, market and building blocks of tissue preservation
    • Patient selection and preoperative planning
    • Surgical technique, post-op, before and afters, clinical data
    • Pushing the boundaries — round table and wrap up
  6. 06

    Auditorium & Room 101 · day 2

    Aesthetic surgery & best practice

Augmentation and lifting with the least possible trauma — and how to run a practice around them.

    • My preferred primary breast augmentation today, and in 5–10 years
    • Less invasive breast lifting — lipofilling, scarless lift, composite remodeling
    • Data-driven pro & cons — textured vs smooth, antibiotics, incision, plane, anaesthesia, follow-up
    • Surgical understanding of breast anatomy · how to build and run a best breast practice
